Keeping it Fresh: How to Clean your Glass

Image
No one likes dirty glass because nothing ruins the taste of a rip more. The good news is maintaining your glass is relatively easy and painless. To make and keep your bong, bubbler or glass pipes clean requires only basic cleaning. Removing tough areas and stains requires minimal added effort on top of regular cleansing. In fact the entire cleaning process can be done in only 4 easy steps and a few materials (see our graphic below). For materials, we recommend latex gloves to protect your soft hands, as extra potent rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) is especially drying and harsh. The higher concentration of alcohol you use the easier the job is, so although 70% is minimal recommended, we suggest 99% for better results. Once you have your gloves on wash you glass with warm water.  Don't use soap if it can be avoided, it leaves a residue and taste to your tokes otherwise.  Warm water is the first step in preparing your bong for cleaning.  Make sure you get as much spent herb, a

Vaporizers: An Introduction

Image
Vaporizers offer a plethora of benefits. Not only are their health benefits, a high performance vaporizer offers reliable precision, efficiency, privacy, safety, and flavor. Vaping in place of smoking can make consuming cannabis at home possible without leaving the characteristic smell and help make public consumption possible without stigma. Discreet in both aroma and appearance, but strong in taste and effect, portable vaporizers can even allow you to blaze unbeknownst to anyone else in your company. Each vaporizer type caters to different  preferences and lifestyles, they also range in price so it’s a good idea to familiarize yourself on the basics before making a commitment to invest in one. There are 3 main types of vaporizers: Table top, portable flower and portable oil or concentrate. Each can be compared by price, power source, portability, and function. Table Top Vaporizers: These are large vaporizers that plug into a wall outlet for power.  They offer little to no port

Stuck with no papers or glass to smoke your flower? Or maybe just want to try something fun or different.  Here is how to make an apple pipe in a pinch: Step 1:  Gather materials.  You will need an apple, a knife or pen, cannabis and a lighter to smoke. Step 2: Remove the stem and make a bowl on top of the apple.  Dig the bowl to the middle core of the apple. Step 3: Make a mouth piece by punching a whole in the side of the apple into the chamber you made for the bowl. Step 4: Add a carb by punching all the way through the mouth piece to the other side. Step 5: Pack the bowl and blaze! Want to get the best in glass and papers, so you're not in a pinch again?  Let us hook you up with the best in accessories and easy, discrete delivery!  Launching November, because we love weed, do you?

Legalization in Canada: What does it mean?

Image
On October 17th, 2018 use of Cannabis will be legalized in Canada, but what does that mean?  Well the answer is slightly complicated.  When the federal government legalized cannabis earlier this year, it left the provinces in charge of how it will be sold and where consumers can smoke it. From there local governments also have their own by-laws and regulations about whether it can be sold and where it can be consumed. Local municipalities control the rules about where cannabis can be smoked, and so it will differ even within a province. Some points are somewhat constant across the country:  You can’t buy cannabis if you’re under 18 (though with the exception of Alberta most provinces state 19, much like alcohol) You can grow up to four plants at your residence (note this is not approved in Manitoba and Quebec where growing is still prohibited by the provinces)  You can carry up to 30 grams outside your residence. This is also the limit of how much you may purchase at on

Sativa vs Indica: What is the real difference?

Image
Anyone familiar with cannabis has heard of the 2 strains: Sativa and Indica.  Sativa is promoted as having energizing, and invigorating neural effects while Indica is seen as giving relaxing and sedative effects on consciousness.  These beliefs are so promoted that most users have heard this information before.  However, research suggests that these categories are not prescriptive and/or reliable to the chemical profile of a cannabis plant. The reasons why the terms "indica" and "sativa" no longer predict the profile of the plant, lies in the evolution of cannabis and the cultivation of the species by growers in North America. The evolution of cannabis has a natural history, in which the plant split into the 2 distinct species.  The Indica strains with short plants and wide leaves, developed in colder climates, where seasons were short and punctuated. The Sativa strains with tall profiles and long leaves, flourished in warmer climates with long seasons. For most
